The bunch join scouts

My oldest daughter has been in Girl Scouts for many years, but because of time restrictions we have not put the other two into a scouting program yet. Well, the wait is over! We found a group where all ages meet in their respective groups on the same day at the same time! Yay! One of the first things this group is doing is a big camping trip to one of the spots we really like. Now we get to use the camper even more. Yippee! Also no cookie sales in February since the girls are part of American Heritage Girls and not Girl Scouts. Even better. EVERYONE is this group is required to be homeschooled. I think this is exactly what we wanted. T has a little girl push him around. The kids try a punt pass, and kick competition.

The Bunch Celebrate Birthday week

Half of our bunch has birthdays within 2 weeks of each other. So basically every 5 days for two weeks we are having cake. It can be a little much, but I am not going to tell one of the kids they can't have a birthday cake on their birthday. This year A talked T into having a joint themed Harry Potter party so we spent a little more in the decorating budget and went all out in making it festive. I think it turned out really well. Although, the kids and I literally spent all the week before getting ready. It was a lot of fun. We made Hagrid's cake. We also had a bowl of chocolate frogs and golden snitch cupcakes. Golden snitch cupcakes. We put Lumos Nox on all the light switches, had the spiders crawling up the wall, tons of wanted posters and school proclamations. We made potions bottles. We had the fat lady, olivanders wands, and house ties. Hubby made the broom from tree branches and that is Harry's dad reflected in the mirror! Of c
