I figure if the kids are stuck inside every afternoon (which is really anytime after 10:30am) then they might as well be learning something and not just be comatose in front of the TV. We have been doing school for the past two weeks and so far it has been fairly painless to get back in the routine of things, though we are taking off this week to get ready for their birthday parties next weekend. We finally had our unusual cool front come through. It was too late for us to go to Six Flags so we headed to the Dallas Arboretum for the day. The high was only 73 and it felt so great....almost cold in the water. This was our first time to visit the children's gardens. It was really neat.
