The Bunch are Already Almost Half Way Through Summer

Happy Father's Day to my wonderful husband Ohh, the lovely summer days. Just laying around with nothing to do. What a beautiful thing! Except my house would have no idea how this feels because if the kids feel "too" bored I am the one who regrets it. We have moved at a much slower pace (Yes, dear, we really have done less). Much much less now that the mower broke and has to go in for warranty work. Of course, there  is one guy in the ENTIRE county that does the warranty work so basically the mower should be back by October. Good thing we do not have an HOA. We do get chiggers though, so I am still not keen on having to let the grass get tall. T has been busy with basketball practice and games. I have to say I am loving the evening games. We can get all our stuff done during in the day WITHOUT rushing and then pack up and go enjoy his game(s). They have won one game and lost one game. The Bunch Deal with Bad Weather and C Returns to Normal (mostly)

Typical Cuddle Night. First off, Yay! I officially put my ear muffs back in the winter closet today! I have not used them at all in a few days now. It took about a month, but I feel great and my ears feel completely normal 95% of the time. I am normal (ish) again! It seemed like an extra long road to recovery, but I am soooo happy to finally feel like I am there. Unfortunately, I ran over my foot with a floor jack while cleaning the garage last week and it ripped my big toe nail half off. It did NOT feel good and the kids (and neighbors) heard some nice screaming and colorful language. Thank goodness I had my toenail removed a couple of years ago because of runners toe so I knew how to deal with this injury. D asked if I would please stop hurting myself.  I don't know why I am so accident prone here. The babies are starting to lay eggs.
