The Bunch Grow by 2 and Celebrate Thanksgiving!

C & H GOT ENGAGED!!!! C decided that it was FINALLY time to ask his long time love to marry him! I have long referred to her and her daughter as my daughter-n-law and granddaughter.  Now, it is really official! It was very sweet. He called to inform us all of his plan before he did it. He took her to a nice restaurant by the Star in Frisco and then proposed by the lights of the Christmas decorations. We are very happy for them and love that something good came out of 2020, though she would probably liked a heads up to remove her mask! We are so happy for them! He picked out a beautiful ring. C by far had the most interesting news of the week. The rest of us had a more uneventful week. We decided to put the tree up early because why not. It makes us happy and we all need more happiness this year. One week before Thanksgiving our tree is up and anxiously awaiting the packages that were ordered to be lovingly wrapped and placed under it. We celebrated our Thanksgiving dinner on Weds

The Bunch Have Been Busy

We celebrated C's 27 Birthday. Wow! Time flies! After months of basically forcing A to get her permit and start driving, it has finally happened...she is fully licensed and can drive by herself. This was not an easy road to go down with her. She still doesn't want to drive, but hopefully she will appreciate the freedom that comes with being able to transport yourself when you want to where you want. She failed her first driving test and that really upset her. It wasn't really her fault. It was a good guess. I would have thought 45, however apparently it was 35. Any speeding is an automatic failure. This caused all kinds of over reactions, but I took her back the very next morning and she tried again. This time she did beautifully and passed. She even nailed the parallel parking. So now she i

The Bunch Celebrate Halloween and Enjoy the Perfect Weather

We had a fun low-key Halloween 🎃. D had to work so it was just the kids and I and I mean all the kids. C came over and hung out with us pretty much all day. We watched all kinds of kid friendly Halloween themed shows, played wii u games, and enjoyed the nice weather outside. T was excited to have someone want to play basketball with him. The girls never play with him and even though the day before he had played basketball for 2 hours with a friend, he was still happy to play more with C. We made bbq chicken pizza, pepperoni 🍕 pizza, and fruit pizza. Fruit pizza is a family favorite. The crust of the pizza is a sugar cookie, which I make from a wonderful recipe that uses cream cheese in the batter. You then make a cream cheese and powder sugar "sauce" and top with fresh berries, bananas, and whatever other fruit you enjoy. It is really yummy.  Kids had fun playing the wii u party game. They laughed most of the time. I am not sure why C has 2 controllers. Maisy likes to be
