The Bunch Celebrate Halloween and Enjoy the Perfect Weather

We had a fun low-key Halloween 🎃. D had to work so it was just the kids and I and I mean all the kids. C came over and hung out with us pretty much all day. We watched all kinds of kid friendly Halloween themed shows, played wii u games, and enjoyed the nice weather outside. T was excited to have someone want to play basketball with him. The girls never play with him and even though the day before he had played basketball for 2 hours with a friend, he was still happy to play more with C. We made bbq chicken pizza, pepperoni 🍕 pizza, and fruit pizza. Fruit pizza is a family favorite. The crust of the pizza is a sugar cookie, which I make from a wonderful recipe that uses cream cheese in the batter. You then make a cream cheese and powder sugar "sauce" and top with fresh berries, bananas, and whatever other fruit you enjoy. It is really yummy.

Kids had fun playing the wii u party game. They laughed most of the time.

I am not sure why C has 2 controllers.

Maisy likes to be part of everything that is going on.

They only dressed up long enough for this picture, but we had Ruby Roundhouse from Jumanji, Ann Wheeler from the Greatest Showman, and of course our own Elvis.

From wanting to be a pediatric nurse to now wanting to teach aerial arts.

Our Ruby Roundhouse plans to become a vet tech.

Elvis still plans to be Elvis.

This weekend we will celebrate C's 27th birthday and A takes her FINAL driving test to get her official I can drive by myself license. I am so excited. I think once she is done with it she will be happy, but she is not particularly excited about being made to drive and she fully intends to never parallel park again after the test!

In very sad news, L's most beloved chicken, the new baby silkie that she fought to make an indoor chicken, died. It was very unexpected and she was beyond crushed. She would go outside multiple times a day to play with that chicken. I wish it could have been any other chicken but that one. We aren't sure what happened. I think the other ones may have chased her away from the food and she just couldn't eat enough, but she had been eating and regularly laying eggs so we don't really know. Poor L.

The horse and donkey are doing well on their diet. I am quite pleased with how proportional they are becoming. T hopped on Iris bareback for a minute while I led her around yesterday. Iris did great, but T was so nervous about her misbehaving that he literally wanted off after a minute. I think today I will have her walk around with a saddle on. That should make her mad. She hates the saddle.

Gwenie is starting to get her teddy bear winter coat. She is so cute!

Iris is a camera hog.

We take her on frequent walks. Sometimes she is good, other times she tries to drag us around the yard. It is a work in progress.

She is looking very lean and her foot problems are almost non-existent now.

She really wanted the camera.

I just want to pinch her cheeks and carry her around.  She is so cute and loveable.

The Bunch Have A Hard Week

This was actually part of T's present. He had been begging D to do it.😂 It only stayed around a short while. After throwing such a fun and memorable birthday party for T at the lake with his basketball buddies, we have decided to part ways with the basketball organization. I cannot get past that evil man being anywhere near us or people I care about. I did make sure to give everyone a fair warning about the evil man and they can now hopefully make an informed decision about their level of involvement with him. I don't think T's too bothered by it. He didn't want to play this year anyways, but I had originally really wanted him to be around his friends. I am not sure what we will do instead, but I know he is happy to NOT have to run. He hates running. I am basically just feeling completely defeated. I trust no one and have a complete LACK of faith in police officers and lawyers. I know my husband is a good officer, but that's about it and the count is on until June

The Bunch Enjoy Easter

The Bunch ready to head to church to celebrate Easter. We had a wonderful Easter. The kids and I dyed eggs together. T made a fairly intricate Guns N Roses logo egg while A and I just enjoyed making pretty eggs. We have discovered that using food coloring makes for way brighter eggs than using the horrible Easter egg dye kits from the store. I participated in the egg hunt with the kids this year. It was so much fun! We laughed so hard as we all ran around trying to beat each other. Afterwards, we had our traditional egg gravy and went to church. We enjoyed a ham dinner and watched HOP. It was a great day.  T worked a long time on this egg. It was by far the most intricate egg he has ever done. He did a fantastic job! T actually fell down (you can tell by grass on his knee), but he wasn't going to lose no matter what! We had so much fun and laughter! It was great!! All smiles on our way to church. It was a little early still for A. The week has been pretty good. Better than I though

The Bunch Celebrate Valentine's Day And Grandma's Birthday

Obviously, now that my kids are all pretty much grown Valentine's isn't as big of deal to them. However, in keeping with tradition, not to mention the fact T still wanted out of school for the day, we still had a mini party.  I told them that this year I wasn't going to get them any candy, normally I get balloons and special treat for each of them, but this year I just wasn't feeling it so I decided I would buy them all pizza (a treat since I rarely allow pizza) and I had some little Bundt cakes to celebrate with. They all said they were fine with that. L doesn't really do sweets, A doesn't like chocolate, and T doesn't like truffles, but they all like pizza. We took the day off and fortunately didn't have any basketball related stuff. No practice, no games, a rare no basketball day. We watched a movie, played some minute to win it games, and just basically enjoyed a nice low key day.  I remember the old days when they were little and we would all make
