The Bunch Have A Hard Week

This was actually part of T's present. He had been begging D to do it.😂 It only stayed around a short while.

After throwing such a fun and memorable birthday party for T at the lake with his basketball buddies, we have decided to part ways with the basketball organization. I cannot get past that evil man being anywhere near us or people I care about. I did make sure to give everyone a fair warning about the evil man and they can now hopefully make an informed decision about their level of involvement with him. I don't think T's too bothered by it. He didn't want to play this year anyways, but I had originally really wanted him to be around his friends. I am not sure what we will do instead, but I know he is happy to NOT have to run. He hates running. I am basically just feeling completely defeated. I trust no one and have a complete LACK of faith in police officers and lawyers. I know my husband is a good officer, but that's about it and the count is on until June 1st, 2028 when he no longer will be one. I am tired of evil seemingly winning. Yes, I know eventually justice will prevail, but the wait is hard.

We celebrated my birthday this week and it was nice to hear from my family. I miss them terribly. I guess one bright side is our level of busyness drastically decreased and we should have more time to visit them and spend time doing more relaxing things.... basketball is NOT relaxing. There are multiple practices a week, multiple games, and who can forget the dreaded tournaments, which are so loud you just have to go out to the car sometimes to think. We have been working on T's driving and he is getting really good. I think we are about ready to do the expressway. In a twist, he actually likes driving the SUV the best.

The kids got me a new remote for the Roku with a volume control built in. I love it!

A said I should bump it up to 35.....I pretended she was right😂

These weren't technically birthday flowers, but D did find some very beautiful roses.

T is really looking forward to his birthday this week. He has big plans for him and D to go to Guitar Center and play around. We aren't doing a whole lot since we just threw a big cookout for all his friends, but he will still get the day off of school and get to take the reins on what we do for the day. Of course, he also gets to pick out all the meals. This is one of everyone's favorite birthday perks! 🥳

The Bunch Are Off To A Wonderful 2025 And Are Considering A Change 🤔

It's official, she has a college diploma!! Besides totally enjoying a drama free year, we have been consciously spending time doing things as a family and spending time with each child doing things they enjoy. D has been playing ball and watching movies with his larger "mini me" while A and I have been spending a lot of time in Dallas going to the theatre. A absolutely loves going to see off Broadway productions! I won't be surprised in the slightest if she ends up getting season tickets. Dallas Broadway does a lottery to each show where if they draw your name you have 3 hours to buy tickets for $39 each including all fees! That is an absolute steal! She actually won the lottery on Tuesday so we went that night to see the production of "& Juliet". The seats she won were FANTASTIC! They don't give you cheap seats in the back for the lottery. You win good seats. The seats we ended up with worked out to be only about a quarter of the regular price! We h...

The Bunch Enjoy Easter

The Bunch ready to head to church to celebrate Easter. We had a wonderful Easter. The kids and I dyed eggs together. T made a fairly intricate Guns N Roses logo egg while A and I just enjoyed making pretty eggs. We have discovered that using food coloring makes for way brighter eggs than using the horrible Easter egg dye kits from the store. I participated in the egg hunt with the kids this year. It was so much fun! We laughed so hard as we all ran around trying to beat each other. Afterwards, we had our traditional egg gravy and went to church. We enjoyed a ham dinner and watched HOP. It was a great day.  T worked a long time on this egg. It was by far the most intricate egg he has ever done. He did a fantastic job! T actually fell down (you can tell by grass on his knee), but he wasn't going to lose no matter what! We had so much fun and laughter! It was great!! All smiles on our way to church. It was a little early still for A. The week has been pretty good. Better than I though...
