Yes, it is true. We have grown by 4. At least the fluffy, cute, chirpy type. Yes, my kitchen is once again being used as a barn...or it at least feels that way, though it is nice to wake up to the sounds of the rain forest. Or at least that is what I am convincing myself of when I suffer through the never ending chirping. At least they are cute. We went to the local feed store to pick up some feed for our hens and they had two stock tanks full of adorable little chicks. Of course, the kids reminded me that we were short a few hens since of the last batch of ten, six were roosters. Long story short and using the ever technical method of picking the cutest ones to be girls, we went home with four new chicks (which my husband got a kick out of telling everyone at the gym that afterwards we were "going to pick up chicks"). Aren't they cute? Our cool green eggs...2 of the new ones will lay colored eggs too....unless they are roosters! We had to experience the Ft W
