The Bunch Still Deal With Covid And L Starts Volleyball

Last 3 days of school! Between an entire month of rain and dealing with being sick with Covid, we have amassed a huge amount of outdoor chores to do if it EVER stops raining. Our "grass", pretty sure it's mostly weeds, is about calve high. We did manage to get hay delivered for the horses during a brief rain break, which was way more important than mowing. However, slipping and sliding around while we tried to put it in the hay barn was not fun. In fact, it made our least favorite chore that much more undesirable. Plus the lingering Covid symptoms, the fatigue and shortness of breath, made it especially hard. However, we did it and now don't have to worry about it for another month. The only dry spot left in the entire yard is the back 2/3 of the horse's lean to.  My whole yard has standing water! And really needs to be mowed! D took his third and, hopefully, final Covid test yesterday. If this one is positive, he will go to the doctor tomorrow and get medical cle

The Bunch Recover from Covid, Celebrate Mother's Day, and A Graduates

T made me feel extra special this Mother's Day. He had his snap circuits tell me he loves me. The girls made me beautiful cards too! L's card made me want a cinnamon roll! Too bad I wouldn't be able to taste it! It was a good day.....too bad I felt horrible and just laid on the couch and slept. T made me a pretty card too and also breakfast. He was very attentive. I think forced quarantine made him bored!! T even took over putting up sweet signs around the house for me that L had out grown doing. I loved it! Wow, what a difference a week makes. In Covid time, it feels like it has been about a year! T never did develop any symptoms. The girls felt tired and snotty for a couple of days, but then slowly rebounded. Now, they feel back to their normal selves. For the first couple of days, I felt ok, but then on days 4-8 I felt like someone ran over me, left me for dead, and then came back and ran me over again.  D had a similar timeline to mine. That said, let me be clear. Unl

The Bunch Get A Little Extra From Prom

My sweet husband picked some flowers from the pasture to brighten my day with. In not a completely surprising turn of events, the Bunch have contracted the infamous Covid 19. We are not really sure if the girls brought it back with them from prom or if D picked it up at work, but it has been making the rounds. L was the first to feel bad about 4 days after prom, but she is ALWAYS congested because of really bad allergies so with no fever and the fact she felt much better after 24 hours we didn't think much of it. D came home from work about 3 days after that and just looked horrible. He was super tired and went right to bed. The next morning he was super lethargic, congested, and felt just plain miserable so I took him to get a Covid test, just in case. He has a very sensitive gag reflex so sending a Q tip up to his thoughts almost made him throw up all over my car. It was very easy to get tested though and only took about half an hour to get through the line. Since all you hear ab
