The Bunch Girls Head To Orlando And Ride Out Helene

This past week was what A and I had been looking forward to for what seems like forever, but was really only about a couple of months. We embarked on our Orlando trip to celebrate A being finished with her degree! I found an unbelievable deal that included 5 days at the Universal parks, round trip air fare, transportation to and from the parks/airport, and hotel accommodations. We originally planned to spend a week relaxing at the beach in Pensacola, however, that would have been disastrous thanks to Helene so I am happy we found such a good deal and decided to head to Orlando instead. The vacation package we purchased went flawlessly. Everything was on time and set up correctly. We had no issues, except for said hurricane but we can't really hold that against them. The parks weren't very busy. They said the weather was less humid than in the summer, but I don't believe it. The air was so thick that you could almost swim through it! Just walking the half mile to the water ...

The Bunch Get Ready For Orlando

Who says you can't be sick in bed and play guitar?😂 This week was all about getting things together so the boys have a fairly easy time taking care of things while we're gone. Unfortunately, the farrier decided to change his day to next week so the boys will have to deal with that on their own. Good luck boys! 🤞 Our farrier is so good though it shouldn't be too bad....I hope!  I left super detailed instructions about everything literally plastered all over the fridge. I'm not kidding. There is 7 pages.  T was disappointed because he is starting to get sick and he doesn't want to ruin his "fun week". I am glad he is so excited to stay home with D. I think he plans on a lot of guitar playing, a few movies, e...

The Bunch Celebrate A turning 21!!!

Happy Birthday 🎂 My little baby girl is 21! I remember mommy and baby girl afternoon naps together. I remember numerous tea parties and dress up on rainy days. There were stroller jogs to the park, picnics at the zoo, story times at the library, and gymnastic lessons. It makes me so happy that A remembers all these too so fondly! She even has a playlist on her phone titled "childhood memories" where she has all the songs we listened to while she was growing up. She currently has about 200 songs on it! She is now a full fledged adult that has graduated college and is starting her career. She has grown into a very capable young woman. She always had horrible anxiety as a child and to see her out grow it and do things for herself is just amazing. She still will ask for guidance about somethings, but I think parents will always be asked for guidance occasionally by their children. However, just because we give her advice doesn't mean she'll follow it and that's just ...
