The Bunch Are Enjoying The Holidays

My family ❤️,  Cracker Barrel is doing $5 take home meals with an entree. It was was a great deal for next day's lunch! First off, A and I are feeling a lot better. However, this illness seems to last FOREVER. We still have a lot of sinus issues and an occasional cough. We also get winded pretty easily, but we're slowly slipping back into our normal routines. We went to play pickleball with T one afternoon and we played both of us against him to keep our running down. However, it happened to be crazy windy that day so we spent a lot of time chasing the ball anyways. 😂  Thanks to the news we discovered a place by us that has about 4 acres of crazy Christmas lights! We went to go check it out and it was awesome! We also went to our traditional Cracker Barrel and drive thru lights in Sherman with C and H. I think it's fun we just kind of started this tradition. I love being able to have our own thing for the holidays so we all feel connected even though they aren't nearby...

The Bunch Go See A Christmas Story Live

Ever since A Christmas Story Musical came out on TV several years ago, we always watch it every Christmas. This year Bass Hall was performing it for a weekend and A bought us all tickets to go and see it! Unfortunately, she was still crazy sick and really didn't get to thoroughly enjoy it, but the rest of us had a fabulous time! We were all laughing and just really enjoying our day. We also wandered around Sundance square and took pictures with all the Christmas decor. I will say their large Christmas tree looked pretty sad. It was very sparse and looked liked it died a couple of months ago. However, the ornaments and lights were pretty. Seeing all the festive decor really puts you in the Christmas spirit! I love Christmas!! Someone was letting their kids play in the water! It was pretty cold!! The tree didn't look too bad from a far. The seats in the balcony were nice. Honestly, I think I like sitting in the balcony better than on the floor. You can see more and the restroom ...

The Bunch Deal With A Being Sick

T is such a show off!😂❤️ This week took an unexpected turn. After such a wonderful Thanksgiving week, we were surprised on Tuesday when A started complaining about feeling tired and generally not good. We had had plans to go see the new Wicked movie, which she was ecstatic about and had been greatly looking forward to. I knew it was serious when I said I would postpone the movie until next week and she didn't put up a fight. By that afternoon she had a fever, aches, chills, sweats, and a cough. She basically spent 3 days being completely miserable. Her fever finally broke on Thursday so Friday she went to work with her bottle of DayQuil and some ibuprofen. She made it through the day (barely according to her) and came home and fell asleep by about 7 pm.  She slept until 8 this morning! She is doing a lot better. The fever is gone, the coughing is gone, and she managed to get up a few times to get some stuff done. We have big plans for tomorrow so I have just been trying to ...

The Bunch Celebrate Thanksgiving 🦃

Happy Thanksgiving! What a wonderful week we have had! Overall, things moved at a slower pace around here. We took time to go visit family and just to enjoy Thanksgiving day. On one of the days A had off before Thanksgiving, we took the time to venture out to my in laws to not only enjoy a Thanksgiving meal, but to visit with them and our Aunt we don't get to see very much of. We had a really nice visit and greatly enjoyed our lunch. My father in law had smoked a turkey all day the day before and it was the best turkey we ever had! In fact, A doesn't even really like turkey, but she ate it plain and went back for seconds! It was a good day. My loving husband ❤️  The kids with Pop Pop. T is such a giant! Gigi and her sister getting our yummy lunch ready. The little calf in the middle was born on my birthday and I named it Meatloaf. She is so cute! Last year I basically cooked our entire Thanksgiving dinner the day before so I could watch the parade with A. She really enjoys t...

The Bunch See The Outsiders and Jump Around

The "wall" we're standing in front of is really just a curtain made to look like a wall! We had a fun week! We have been pretty busy lately. The kids got their wish and we went ahead and put our outside Christmas decorations up. I will put the indoor ones up after Thanksgiving, though I probably won't put the tree up until after the first week of December and it will come down in the evening on Christmas day. The cats will NOT leave the tree alone when it's up so they pretty much drive us crazy whenever it's up! I am not sure what the extra excitement about Christmas is this year, but I am happy they are so excited to do our Christmas traditions like making cookies, watching our favorite holiday movies, and looking at lights. T already told me that he's listening to Christmas music!  The kids have enjoyed riding scooters, playing Mario, shooting archery, and shooting hoops together. I am glad they are having fun together! They even went to see a movie th...
