The Bunch Get Busy With Christmas!

My favorite time of year is once again here! I was well planned this year so most of all the shopping is already done and I have been really able to relax and enjoy the holidays.  We went to see ICE at the Gaylord Texan, unfortunately this was one day after my buy one get one free coupon expired unbeknown to me. It was about 80 when we were going so we literally carried two bags of clothes in with us to change into right before we went in. I knew the kids would be able to use a snowsuit in Texas! They do give you a parka when you enter, but a word from the wise....it is 8 in there. You will want to have layers on, gloves, ear muffs, and maybe a face mask if you plan on staying more than 30 minutes.  We were mesmerized by the sculptures. The kids loved the ice slides.

Slide was definitely the best part!

My little monkeys with their little monkeys.

Not sure what he was doing, but it works.

Please note our faces are starting to redden. ..only been 15 minutes....COLD!!

The coolest (pun intended) clear ice nativity scene!

We have done some Christmas light looking, but plan a more in depth drive soon. We also plan to visit Santa at Bass Pro. Bass Pro has all kinds of free activities for the kids plus pics with the big guy. We also go to the live nativity that a local church does every year.

We took a picture with Joseph and Mary!

Merry Christmas Every One!

The Bunch Have A Hard Week

This was actually part of T's present. He had been begging D to do it.😂 It only stayed around a short while. After throwing such a fun and memorable birthday party for T at the lake with his basketball buddies, we have decided to part ways with the basketball organization. I cannot get past that evil man being anywhere near us or people I care about. I did make sure to give everyone a fair warning about the evil man and they can now hopefully make an informed decision about their level of involvement with him. I don't think T's too bothered by it. He didn't want to play this year anyways, but I had originally really wanted him to be around his friends. I am not sure what we will do instead, but I know he is happy to NOT have to run. He hates running. I am basically just feeling completely defeated. I trust no one and have a complete LACK of faith in police officers and lawyers. I know my husband is a good officer, but that's about it and the count is on until June

The Bunch Enjoy Easter

The Bunch ready to head to church to celebrate Easter. We had a wonderful Easter. The kids and I dyed eggs together. T made a fairly intricate Guns N Roses logo egg while A and I just enjoyed making pretty eggs. We have discovered that using food coloring makes for way brighter eggs than using the horrible Easter egg dye kits from the store. I participated in the egg hunt with the kids this year. It was so much fun! We laughed so hard as we all ran around trying to beat each other. Afterwards, we had our traditional egg gravy and went to church. We enjoyed a ham dinner and watched HOP. It was a great day.  T worked a long time on this egg. It was by far the most intricate egg he has ever done. He did a fantastic job! T actually fell down (you can tell by grass on his knee), but he wasn't going to lose no matter what! We had so much fun and laughter! It was great!! All smiles on our way to church. It was a little early still for A. The week has been pretty good. Better than I though

The Bunch Celebrate Valentine's Day And Grandma's Birthday

Obviously, now that my kids are all pretty much grown Valentine's isn't as big of deal to them. However, in keeping with tradition, not to mention the fact T still wanted out of school for the day, we still had a mini party.  I told them that this year I wasn't going to get them any candy, normally I get balloons and special treat for each of them, but this year I just wasn't feeling it so I decided I would buy them all pizza (a treat since I rarely allow pizza) and I had some little Bundt cakes to celebrate with. They all said they were fine with that. L doesn't really do sweets, A doesn't like chocolate, and T doesn't like truffles, but they all like pizza. We took the day off and fortunately didn't have any basketball related stuff. No practice, no games, a rare no basketball day. We watched a movie, played some minute to win it games, and just basically enjoyed a nice low key day.  I remember the old days when they were little and we would all make
