Happy Mother's Day From the Bunch!

     First of all, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all the mothers out there. Personally for me, we do not do a whole bunch of "stuff" on Mother's day. I am with my kids literally 24/7 with homeschool and everyday is pretty much Mother's Day. My kids are always wanting to play games with me, show me that they are thinking of me by bringing me flowers, or snuggling up to watch a movie or favorite tv show. That is not to say that the do not have moments that I swear some evil being has overtaken my sweet kids, but they are pretty sweet most of the time. I pray everyone else is as blessed as I am and able to enjoy your kids while they are young because my oldest is grown up and on his own and I really miss just being able to have small everyday moments together. I still see and talk to him regularly, but it will never be like it was when he was little so I really try to get the most of each day with the younger ones that are still at home.

     We have had our shelter dog for almost a month now and she is just the sweetest dog. We are having some success with the leash training. She no longer completely flips a switch and becomes a circus dog that flips circles and bounces on two legs as soon as she sees the leash. She only half way turns into a circus dog by pulling the leash and turning in circles. She has not made a lot of progress on the separation anxiety  even though 85% she is literally touching me. She is driving me a little crazy always following me, even across the room, or trying to lay on me, but we are still trying to work regularly on her understanding I come back. She even flips out if everyone else is home, but I leave. She does yoga with me and it is super cute. I will post pics next time because the camera port wouldn't work so ordering a new camera is now on the list!

The raining everyday is getting a little old after a month, but I try not to complain since we really needed the rain and it has greatly helped the drought. However, I am tired of being inside because of severe weather. I have been trying to put up a cover on the patio for two weeks now, but it won't stop raining long enough to set the concrete! Okay, truth be told the patio has been on the list for 11 years since we tore the old one down, but we finally have the resources AND the time to put it up.   

I think she looks good in hats so of course she doesn't like them.
He finally climbed to the top!



The first blooms of the Texas Bluebonnet....Too bad I didn't get  a pic when the all bloomed...so pretty!

The Bunch Start Birthday Week

  Yes, my Mom had my name misspelled on the cake.😂 It was still yummy so it was all good. T, A, and I all have our birthdays within a week and a half. Which means there is a crazy amount of sugar within those 10 days. We always like to make whoever's birthday it is feel special for the day. We watch what they want,do activities they like, eat what they pick, do their chores for them, etc. It not usually too expensive, but just a fun day where it's focused on them. The kids use to use their days to rule like little kings and queens, but have become a lot calmer in their "old" age since they get to do whatever they want most of the time anyways. The Bunch Visit Family

  We had fun playing some board games...and it wasn't even a fun jar idea! We just did it because it sounded like fun! The fun jar has been a little slow being implemented this year. T made sure to let me know! We're making up for it next week by drawing several things.  We have had a wonderfully busy week visiting family and getting things done around the house. We went over to my parents house to celebrate Father's Day and while the boys played games with Grandpa, the girls went with Grandma to show her what all the fuss about Trader Joe's is about. She enjoyed looking at all the different things and even found a few gems of her own. It was a nice day and fun to get out together for a little bit. We had a great day!🥰 We picked up Whataburger for my Dad as a treat and my mom made some tots and a side salad up to go with it.💗 We also had a nice long visit with our Aunt P. The Bunch Have A Fantastic Week!

  Pickleball is always fun! Now that the weather has been nicer, albeit super windy, we have been trying to do our weekly pickleball match. Basically, this week whoever was playing with the wind won! We still have fun playing even when it is windy. In fact, playing in the wind probably makes us have more fun. The wind gusts sometimes pick the ball up and make it do some funny things, like getting the ball and pushing it back onto your side so you lose a point or blowing it three courts over! Luckily, we are usually the only ones there so it doesn't matter if we play across 4 courts. Afterwards, we usually go get some ice cream/ frozen yogurt and just enjoy our outing.  T went camping this weekend with his troop. They worked on orienteering, which I was super happy about since T needs to work on that something fierce, but unfortunately the boys in troop aren't much better than him at orienteering and the first guy oriented them upside down on the first one so they basically was...
