The Bunch Get Busy

T is so sweet! Since L stopped making all the little signs for the holidays he has taken it upon himself to make them. First off, we had a wonderful Father's Day. We ended up driving to Davis, OK to get some fried pies that D loves and later that afternoon C and his family came over to celebrate with us. It was really nice. We grilled out and played some card games. It was nice to have some laughs and enjoy family time. It was also our last day together before the kids were off to their very busy weeks. L did make daddy a card and did his chores for the day. Poor A is still dealing with life with only prescription sunglasses, which she does wear sometimes in the house! T's camp is literally right next to where we drove to get Dad's fried pies. It took us almost 20 minutes to get through the line and get our pies. It was super busy, but so worth it! ❤❤❤My Boys!❤❤❤ H and C are getting ready for their wedding! Save the dates are about to go out! L and B had girl time. T had

The Bunch Just Can't Catch a Break..Is 2021 Done Yet?

T is ready for camp! First off, D had his follow up for his calve. The CareNow doctor cleared him for no restrictions and said he was able to resume regular activity, which would be great news if it was true. He is in far less pain, but he is still having issues with it seizing up and, of course, is worried about it making him fall down again and be unable to move, which for his job could be really horrible. For now though he is back at work doing his normal duties. We plan to go see a specialist on our own to see what exactly is going on with his calve. He needs something more than someone just poking at it and declaring it good when the pain lessens, regardless of on going problems still being present. Apparently my appliances are continuing their systematic revolt. This week my oven caught fire! I was out in the horse pen so I wasn't present until after everything went down.  Fortunately, D was in the house so he was able to quickly deal with it. A had heard some weird hissing s

The Bunch Have Fun Things Planned and Suffer Yet Another Setback

L's version of a baked potato. First off, for the most part we are FINALLY  recovering from Covid. Our taste and smell are back to about 85%. The only issue I really have still is how quickly I tire when working hard, not just during exercise, but also when mucking the horse's pasture or carrying heavy things. Everyday I get a little better, but it seems slow going now, but I am also doing most of the heavy work around here lately (more on that later). We celebrated being Covid free by taking C and H out to lunch. We also celebrated H's birthday 🎁. Typical country day. My horse is "suppose" to be able to pull a wagon. I don't think she could pull a volleyball. Our first harvest. I am learning to weed eat because our garden is being overtaken by grass! Not sure why we can grow nice tall lush grass in the garden, but literally no where else! We have been able to draw several things from the Fun Jar. A few of the things we have drawn is watching a movie on the

The Bunch Are Allowed to RESUME Life!!

Woohoo! We are officially negative and can go back to our normal life! I must say it is EXTREMELY freeing to able to go about town and not be petrified about catching the dreaded Covid 19. I will get the vaccine in a few months just in case my immunity doesn't last very long. We did not have any "severe" symptoms. No breathing issues, no coughing, no fever, but I just felt so bad for so long that I will do whatever precaution might work just to avoid it. We all still are suffering lingering side effects. D and I still don't fully have back our taste and smell, but thankfully it is returning slowly. We all get winded and tired a lot easier than we use to. In fact right before we had Covid 19, I was doing a 30 minute HIIT or Kickboxing class everyday. Now, I struggle (legitimately struggle and have to pause multiple times) through what I use to consider an easy workout day. The girls also struggle a lot more to keep up at their volleyball practice. It is very frustrat
