The Bunch Get Busy

T is so sweet! Since L stopped making all the little signs for the holidays he has taken it upon himself to make them.

First off, we had a wonderful Father's Day. We ended up driving to Davis, OK to get some fried pies that D loves and later that afternoon C and his family came over to celebrate with us. It was really nice. We grilled out and played some card games. It was nice to have some laughs and enjoy family time. It was also our last day together before the kids were off to their very busy weeks.

L did make daddy a card and did his chores for the day.

Poor A is still dealing with life with only prescription sunglasses, which she does wear sometimes in the house!

T's camp is literally right next to where we drove to get Dad's fried pies.

It took us almost 20 minutes to get through the line and get our pies. It was super busy, but so worth it!

❤❤❤My Boys!❤❤❤

H and C are getting ready for their wedding! Save the dates are about to go out!

L and B had girl time.

T had been so excited about going with his friend to camp for a week! He had been counting down the days. While he was very excited, he was also nervous about being away from his family for a week. We all wrote him a letter to read so each day he would have something from his family to read and remind him that we miss and love him and cannot wait until he comes home to tell us all about his fun trip. I have no doubt when I pick him up on Saturday afternoon that he will be beyond tired. They go to bed around 11:45 pm and have to be up at 6:15 am, which we normally get up about that early, but we NEVER stay up that late. It was really hard watching the bus leave. We followed it all the way to our exit, but if it hadn't stopped raining we would have followed it the whole way.  He has had a blast though and called me a couple of times to tell me what he has done. He came in second at a three point contest and was really happy about that. Last time we talked he hadn't really done anything other than play basketball, which he loves. He did have plans to go swimming, play ping pong, zipline, and use the rock wall. Hopefully, he does end up trying some new things.

He is so excited for his camp!

The girls have worked hard all week! They have to arrive at camp at 7:15 am and not leave until 4:15 pm! They are each responsible for about 11 kids. The camp itself has over 450 kids attending! It is loud hot and crazy! When T attended this camp, I had to wear earplugs to pick him up. It was like a rock concert! Unfortunately, since A has to wear the wrong prescription for her glasses (she broke her usual glasses) and deal with all the loudness, she has come home every night with a horrible migraine and pretty much goes straight to bed. Today is her kids' day to play water sports outside so she is able wear her sunglasses all day, which are her current prescription, so I am hopeful that today won't be so bad for her.

Even though we had to replant because of the big winter storm, his garden is doing really well and is just a little behind.

The Bunch Have A Hard Week

This was actually part of T's present. He had been begging D to do it.😂 It only stayed around a short while. After throwing such a fun and memorable birthday party for T at the lake with his basketball buddies, we have decided to part ways with the basketball organization. I cannot get past that evil man being anywhere near us or people I care about. I did make sure to give everyone a fair warning about the evil man and they can now hopefully make an informed decision about their level of involvement with him. I don't think T's too bothered by it. He didn't want to play this year anyways, but I had originally really wanted him to be around his friends. I am not sure what we will do instead, but I know he is happy to NOT have to run. He hates running. I am basically just feeling completely defeated. I trust no one and have a complete LACK of faith in police officers and lawyers. I know my husband is a good officer, but that's about it and the count is on until June

The Bunch Enjoy Easter

The Bunch ready to head to church to celebrate Easter. We had a wonderful Easter. The kids and I dyed eggs together. T made a fairly intricate Guns N Roses logo egg while A and I just enjoyed making pretty eggs. We have discovered that using food coloring makes for way brighter eggs than using the horrible Easter egg dye kits from the store. I participated in the egg hunt with the kids this year. It was so much fun! We laughed so hard as we all ran around trying to beat each other. Afterwards, we had our traditional egg gravy and went to church. We enjoyed a ham dinner and watched HOP. It was a great day.  T worked a long time on this egg. It was by far the most intricate egg he has ever done. He did a fantastic job! T actually fell down (you can tell by grass on his knee), but he wasn't going to lose no matter what! We had so much fun and laughter! It was great!! All smiles on our way to church. It was a little early still for A. The week has been pretty good. Better than I though

The Bunch Celebrate Valentine's Day And Grandma's Birthday

Obviously, now that my kids are all pretty much grown Valentine's isn't as big of deal to them. However, in keeping with tradition, not to mention the fact T still wanted out of school for the day, we still had a mini party.  I told them that this year I wasn't going to get them any candy, normally I get balloons and special treat for each of them, but this year I just wasn't feeling it so I decided I would buy them all pizza (a treat since I rarely allow pizza) and I had some little Bundt cakes to celebrate with. They all said they were fine with that. L doesn't really do sweets, A doesn't like chocolate, and T doesn't like truffles, but they all like pizza. We took the day off and fortunately didn't have any basketball related stuff. No practice, no games, a rare no basketball day. We watched a movie, played some minute to win it games, and just basically enjoyed a nice low key day.  I remember the old days when they were little and we would all make
