The Bunch Have An RV Surprise!

Thanks Biden....just FYI I wasn't the one who put the sticker there, but I did find it hilarious! 😂😂  We have been in desperate need of rain this year. It has been very dry and crunchy. However, while I appreciate the much needed rain, I really wish that we didn't get an entire month's worth of rain in one day! Everything in our yard ends up under water for a couple of days and taking care of animals becomes very difficult. We ended up getting over 3 inches in one night, which unfortunately led to the discovery that our rv has a leak! We were intending to go camping this weekend, but instead spent the weekend fixing the rv.  We were cleaning out the rv to shed weight before our long trip to Galveston when we noticed the extra blankets we store under the couch were wet. We still aren't exactly sure where the leak is, but we think that water came in from some trim that was pulling away over the wheel well.  An rv is a lot like the children's book If You Give a Mouse

The Bunch Celebrate Easter and Leave The Two Youngest Alone For The First Time (which required a Dr Visit)!

L found a little break in all these super crazy windy days to practice some aerial. We had a wonderful Easter. The kids checked out their basket goodies and we had our annual egg hunt. For the first time since T was a little tyke, he did not win the egg hunt (everything in our house is a competition). L was the winner this year by 10 eggs. A was happy that her and T tied because she ALWAYS comes in last. However, in an ironic turn of events T found an extra egg in the middle of the yard later that afternoon which gave him one more egg than A so once again she lost. We had our traditional egg gravy with toast for breakfast (the girls ate overnight oatmeal since they don't like gravy) and we had ham and potato casserole for dinner. Basically, we ate and watched tv all day. It was fantastic and something we rarely give ourselves permission to do. My youngest baby working on coloring his eggs.  We find it fun to dye eggs together. It is just part of  our Easter traditions. Sometimes th

The Bunch Celebrate L Finally Getting Her Driver's License!

Finally!! She was super excited! Yes, it was finally that time. It had been a full three months since I booked the "earliest appointment" with the DPS for L to get her license. As expected, I still had to produce all the same paperwork that I not only showed two years ago when A got her license, but also the exact same paperwork as when I got my "special real id".  You know the license they touted as being extra secure in knowing who you are, which apparently two years after it went into effect isn't good enough for even their own agency. I hate the DPS! It is so frustrating, but at least we are done for the next six months and then I have 2 more years before I have to do it again. I am still not sure if I would have rather waited the 6 hours like it took when A got her license or wait the 3 months to get an appointment. L is handling driving better, at least every outing doesn't end in tears. It's not all rainbows and roses, but the no crying and actual

The Bunch Are Ready For Vacation!

First things first: the cat is completely back to normal. She meows and purrs loudly and, unfortunately, is still interested in the laundry room. Her new annoying trait this week is getting on top of my upper cabinets. My kitchen ceiling is irregularly shaped so the cabinets are not able to be flush with the ceiling. We keep our cereal on top of the refrigerator.  I know the cereal is low once the cat can successfully maneuver around them to jump on top of the fridge and then jump on top of the cabinets. I now have random things from around the house on top of my fridge until I go grocery shopping  so she can't get up there. I swear watching her is like watching a toddler.  She is always getting into things. She has some weird fascination with q-tips. We literally keep them locked up and yet somehow she still finds them to eat! We also recently saved her from choking on Easter grass. The cat is NOT normal. She also tries to eat needles from the sewing basket. She is very sweet, b
