The Bunch Have A Hard Week

This was actually part of T's present. He had been begging D to do it.😂 It only stayed around a short while. After throwing such a fun and memorable birthday party for T at the lake with his basketball buddies, we have decided to part ways with the basketball organization. I cannot get past that evil man being anywhere near us or people I care about. I did make sure to give everyone a fair warning about the evil man and they can now hopefully make an informed decision about their level of involvement with him. I don't think T's too bothered by it. He didn't want to play this year anyways, but I had originally really wanted him to be around his friends. I am not sure what we will do instead, but I know he is happy to NOT have to run. He hates running. I am basically just feeling completely defeated. I trust no one and have a complete LACK of faith in police officers and lawyers. I know my husband is a good officer, but that's about it and the count is on until June

The Bunch Have A Busy Week

H took this picture and I love it💕 My boys🥰 This week was interesting. We went to T's basketball meeting that talks about the season and practices, orders uniforms, and basically just covers what to expect for the year. We were thrown completely off guard when it turns out the evil man who groomed L had enrolled his daughter on one of the teams. I wish the DA office would move faster, but it is what it is I guess. D called recently to check on it and was told they are still reviewing the charges. Basically, we just told everybody the truth which is that he is looking at 2 counts of enticing a child and to be very careful around him. I am not sure what exactly they can do since he hasn't been formally charged yet, but at least everyone will be wary of him. In fact, several people said they won't let their child play if he is part of the team. At least if he is allowed to stay, we will only see them in passing at tournaments. He knew we were part of that organization and

The Bunch Start School

First Day of School. As much as T WASN'T looking forward to going back to school, it actually has gone pretty well. He has a lighter work load MOST days than he had last year, which means school is usually over in about 3-4 hours. I normally sub out Geometry their junior year because basically I hate geometry and it can be extremely frustrating to teach so the kids usually log on to watch their geometry class and then I am just responsible for the tests and quizzes. However, since I only have one left and I didn't want to pay the extra $500, we're going to attempt to do this together. I think that since this is my third time teaching Geometry in 5 years, I am way more comfortable teaching it because we have been moving super fast through our daily pages and so far T seems to be understanding it. However, Literature is a lot of poems this year and he has a really hard time with those so we have been spending more time on that.  His first Home Ec lab was chocolate chip cook

The Bunch Enjoy The Last Week Before School Starts

This  is our pear...from our tree...we had exactly 6 left after all the storms. This is this first year it has produced. They were so sweet and juicy. Maybe next year we can manage to keep more. We also might get 5 apples next month if we don't get a storm.🤞 After the crazy busyness of the past week, we really enjoyed our slow week this week. We did do some fun jar ideas, but we also just relaxed and watched a whole lot of Olympics. Peacock did it right this year on their coverage. They really did show everything, and let me access it, for my $6 a month. We got to watch all the things we want to watch, but aren't popular enough to make main stream tv, like the equestrian stuff, archery, weightlifting, real volleyball NOT beach, rhythmic gymnastics, trampoline, basketball, handball ( had never seen what it was before, it's pretty brutal), ping pong, trackand field (hammer throw is awesome!), and, of course, gymnastics. We LOVE the Olympics and thoroughly enjoy seeing all (m

The Bunch Kids Having A Jam Session

This site only lets me upload 100mb at a time so this is a very abbreviated clip, but they play together often and are pretty good. I enjoy listening to them. Sometimes A even plays violin instead of piano. In fact, she bought a new violin last summer and it sounds really good.

The Bunch Had A Busy Week

It is a cute bar in a historical building, but it was still a weird place for a recital. It was very country..... You use what you have!  There was so much going on this week. It started with T going to the water park with his friends from camp. The youth group rented the water park out after hours and the kids had a blast playing around while enjoying the fact there were no lines. Since they can only rent the facility after normal public hours , he was out pretty late considering the very next morning he had his zoology class to go to. During his zoology class, which is all day, our neighbor called and wanted to give him a job for the next day. Basically, T earns extra money in the summer by doing odd manual labor jobs for the neighbors. He got up at 7 am to go clean out this man's barn and he spent about 4 hours out in the sun and heat moving things around. He also had basketball practice that night, which keeps us out late. T had to get up early again the next day to do his last
