The Bunch Make It to the Wedding!!!

L has  been counting the days down until wedding for the past 6 weeks. Everyday I have heard her mutter the phrase ___ days until the wedding.  I think the only thing she might be more excited about would be if her Aunt was having a baby, only because she is aware that mommy will NOT ever be having another baby. All of our family flew/drove in for this wonderful event. The invitations went out well in advance and we had ours prominently displayed on the refrigerator. When dining with my husband's Aunt the night before, I was alerted to the fact that he did not know exactly where the building was that the wedding was suppose to take place in the next day. I had assumed he knew its location. Why did I assume this? When we received the invitation a couple months ago, he went into a long lecture of how old the building was and that it was a landmark in downtown FT Worth. So silly  me, he knew so much about the building I figured he actually knew where it was. I realized during this dinner that this was in fact not the case. No big deal. Google is my friend. I mentally plan to check the directions and print them out sometime the next day. I thought no more of it. The next day we have everything all planned out so that all three kids and both of us will be ready by 1:30pm so we can make the wedding downtown at 2:30pm.  We wash, dry, curl, and paint nails in preparation. My husband kept pestering me about printing the directions out so I finally log in and go to print them out. I did not have the address so my husband called it out from the kitchen. How annoying! I make him bring me the invitation so I can actually see the whole address. He begrudgingly brought it to me, apparently upset over such a request. I plug in the numbers and voila.  The directions come up perfectly. Wait a minute. I happen to see something. Oh, Crap. The wedding is at 2:00pm NOT 2:30pm! WE HAVE 15 minutes to be out the door, NOT 45! Needless to say, we made a frantic dash for car and I finished primping in the rear view mirror.. Fortunately, we made it with a whole 5 minutes to spare! The wedding was spectacular and we had a great time. Sorry we almost missed it!

AJ's dress left glitter everywhere!

T does not approve of L dancing.

T found his own girl to dance with.

The Bunch Have A Hard Week

This was actually part of T's present. He had been begging D to do it.😂 It only stayed around a short while. After throwing such a fun and memorable birthday party for T at the lake with his basketball buddies, we have decided to part ways with the basketball organization. I cannot get past that evil man being anywhere near us or people I care about. I did make sure to give everyone a fair warning about the evil man and they can now hopefully make an informed decision about their level of involvement with him. I don't think T's too bothered by it. He didn't want to play this year anyways, but I had originally really wanted him to be around his friends. I am not sure what we will do instead, but I know he is happy to NOT have to run. He hates running. I am basically just feeling completely defeated. I trust no one and have a complete LACK of faith in police officers and lawyers. I know my husband is a good officer, but that's about it and the count is on until June

The Bunch Enjoy Easter

The Bunch ready to head to church to celebrate Easter. We had a wonderful Easter. The kids and I dyed eggs together. T made a fairly intricate Guns N Roses logo egg while A and I just enjoyed making pretty eggs. We have discovered that using food coloring makes for way brighter eggs than using the horrible Easter egg dye kits from the store. I participated in the egg hunt with the kids this year. It was so much fun! We laughed so hard as we all ran around trying to beat each other. Afterwards, we had our traditional egg gravy and went to church. We enjoyed a ham dinner and watched HOP. It was a great day.  T worked a long time on this egg. It was by far the most intricate egg he has ever done. He did a fantastic job! T actually fell down (you can tell by grass on his knee), but he wasn't going to lose no matter what! We had so much fun and laughter! It was great!! All smiles on our way to church. It was a little early still for A. The week has been pretty good. Better than I though

The Bunch Celebrate Valentine's Day And Grandma's Birthday

Obviously, now that my kids are all pretty much grown Valentine's isn't as big of deal to them. However, in keeping with tradition, not to mention the fact T still wanted out of school for the day, we still had a mini party.  I told them that this year I wasn't going to get them any candy, normally I get balloons and special treat for each of them, but this year I just wasn't feeling it so I decided I would buy them all pizza (a treat since I rarely allow pizza) and I had some little Bundt cakes to celebrate with. They all said they were fine with that. L doesn't really do sweets, A doesn't like chocolate, and T doesn't like truffles, but they all like pizza. We took the day off and fortunately didn't have any basketball related stuff. No practice, no games, a rare no basketball day. We watched a movie, played some minute to win it games, and just basically enjoyed a nice low key day.  I remember the old days when they were little and we would all make
