The Bunch Head Camping........Again

Obviously we took this BEFORE the 5 hour monsoon hit.

We just got back from Tyler State Park. It is a really nice park. While we were in Tyler we also visited the famous municipal rose garden. It was really beautiful. The kids favorite part of the park was that in the middle of the lake there is a dock. The water was quite chilly, but we still swam, along with about 100 of our favorite college students. Just kidding... they weren't our friends. In fact we had waited until Monday to go swimming at the dock because we wanted there to be less people. We arrived at the dock on Monday afternoon and to our delight we the only ones there. About 30 minutes later, two college kids showed up. They were just throwing a football... no big deal. However, apparently they were just the early birds because about 30 minutes after they showed up car loads and car loads of kids showed up and eventually we decided to come back they next day. I heard them mentioning they planned to that every Monday this summer so consider yourself warned if you plan on going to Tyler State Park on Mondays. We went on about 5 miles worth of hiking, but the trails were very flat and nothing for the kids to worry about compared to the six mile hike in the canyons at Palo Duro.

Yep...my kids can walk on water.
Roly Poly's give live birth apparently in your hands.

Before a 2.5 mile hike

Gee, wonder how he is going to land?

Entrance to the Tyler Rose Garden. It smells wonderful!

We have a Roku and if you do not have one, they are so cool. It's like cable, but without the bill. I refuse to pay for TV. It's not like I should be watching it anyways. I do have a netflix subscription and a gymbox subscription, but that's only like $18 a month together. I exercise a lot and am most definitely not out of shape, but if you want someone to make you  realize how out of shape you are then take an advanced Pilate's class from a crazy almost 7 month pregnant instructor for an hour. How can she do more abs than I can? I literally think I might be dying. How can you finger tips hurt? Maybe this means if I keep it up I will really fabulous shape.....either that or never be able to stand up without moaning again!

It has only been 4 weeks since we started summer break and the kids are already starting fight and drive me crazy....school might start back soon......well as soon as buy all the curriculum anyway!

The Bunch Have A Hard Week

This was actually part of T's present. He had been begging D to do it.😂 It only stayed around a short while. After throwing such a fun and memorable birthday party for T at the lake with his basketball buddies, we have decided to part ways with the basketball organization. I cannot get past that evil man being anywhere near us or people I care about. I did make sure to give everyone a fair warning about the evil man and they can now hopefully make an informed decision about their level of involvement with him. I don't think T's too bothered by it. He didn't want to play this year anyways, but I had originally really wanted him to be around his friends. I am not sure what we will do instead, but I know he is happy to NOT have to run. He hates running. I am basically just feeling completely defeated. I trust no one and have a complete LACK of faith in police officers and lawyers. I know my husband is a good officer, but that's about it and the count is on until June

The Bunch Enjoy Easter

The Bunch ready to head to church to celebrate Easter. We had a wonderful Easter. The kids and I dyed eggs together. T made a fairly intricate Guns N Roses logo egg while A and I just enjoyed making pretty eggs. We have discovered that using food coloring makes for way brighter eggs than using the horrible Easter egg dye kits from the store. I participated in the egg hunt with the kids this year. It was so much fun! We laughed so hard as we all ran around trying to beat each other. Afterwards, we had our traditional egg gravy and went to church. We enjoyed a ham dinner and watched HOP. It was a great day.  T worked a long time on this egg. It was by far the most intricate egg he has ever done. He did a fantastic job! T actually fell down (you can tell by grass on his knee), but he wasn't going to lose no matter what! We had so much fun and laughter! It was great!! All smiles on our way to church. It was a little early still for A. The week has been pretty good. Better than I though

The Bunch Celebrate Valentine's Day And Grandma's Birthday

Obviously, now that my kids are all pretty much grown Valentine's isn't as big of deal to them. However, in keeping with tradition, not to mention the fact T still wanted out of school for the day, we still had a mini party.  I told them that this year I wasn't going to get them any candy, normally I get balloons and special treat for each of them, but this year I just wasn't feeling it so I decided I would buy them all pizza (a treat since I rarely allow pizza) and I had some little Bundt cakes to celebrate with. They all said they were fine with that. L doesn't really do sweets, A doesn't like chocolate, and T doesn't like truffles, but they all like pizza. We took the day off and fortunately didn't have any basketball related stuff. No practice, no games, a rare no basketball day. We watched a movie, played some minute to win it games, and just basically enjoyed a nice low key day.  I remember the old days when they were little and we would all make
