The Bunch Head to Gigi's House

We took the camper over to my in laws for a couple of nights so we could celebrate Christmas and also my nephew's birthday. It is nice because they have a large slab with hook ups for both our camper and their fifth wheel. It is also covered which really helps in inclement weather.  The dog is still learning her manners while we camp, but maybe one day when she's older she will behave better. You never know what you get with shelter dogs, but for the most part she is really good.....at least with us and with no other animals around. We finally got her DNA results back. Wow, we were all WAY off on guessing her lineage. We had thought pit bull, grey hound, Rhodesian ridgeback, with maybe a little maltese thrown in, given her love of freaking out over little white fluffy dogs.Oh, no! She is from a pure breed cattle dog line on one side and the other side has a wonderfully long lineage of mutt, mostly chow. I'm thinking the gate was left open and ooops. This may explain her fixation on small woodland creatures, but ironically she doesn't seem too interested in the cattle. The donkey she really wants to get to, but I guess the cattles horns have her less interested in them.
We had a fun visit at the farm and enjoyed seeing everyone. The highlight of the visit was when my hubby and I picked up Rosa's for dinner for everyone. It was the worst experience. They didn't have anything ready, we had to pull around and wait out front for 20 minutes, go in and check on the order, ask the manager to check on it ( which he did while saying " you haven't got that yet?". He brought it out and after I checked the order I noticed we did not get salsa and when I asked about it, I pretty much got an eye roll before the employee went to retrieve some from the back. Once back at the house, we complained to everyone about the worst Rosa's experience ever. The tortillas were weird, the rice tasted funny, and the beans had cheese on them. We decided we were never going to that Rosa's again. It was horrible and we told everyone how bad this experience was. The next morning on the way to breakfast with my in laws I happen to look out the window and notice something. It turns out our Rosa's experience was so horrible because we were at Taco Cabana! How we never noticed until the next day, I have no idea. I mean we even went inside and talked to the manager! It turns out Rosa's was at the next light down.  Oh well, in my hubby and I's defense they look very similar on the outside. Sorry Rosa's, I should know your better than that!

Got my nails done with the gift certificate the kids got me.

We celebrate Ty's Bday.

T found a great jacket, didn't get it though.

The Bunch Have A Hard Week

This was actually part of T's present. He had been begging D to do it.😂 It only stayed around a short while. After throwing such a fun and memorable birthday party for T at the lake with his basketball buddies, we have decided to part ways with the basketball organization. I cannot get past that evil man being anywhere near us or people I care about. I did make sure to give everyone a fair warning about the evil man and they can now hopefully make an informed decision about their level of involvement with him. I don't think T's too bothered by it. He didn't want to play this year anyways, but I had originally really wanted him to be around his friends. I am not sure what we will do instead, but I know he is happy to NOT have to run. He hates running. I am basically just feeling completely defeated. I trust no one and have a complete LACK of faith in police officers and lawyers. I know my husband is a good officer, but that's about it and the count is on until June

The Bunch Enjoy Easter

The Bunch ready to head to church to celebrate Easter. We had a wonderful Easter. The kids and I dyed eggs together. T made a fairly intricate Guns N Roses logo egg while A and I just enjoyed making pretty eggs. We have discovered that using food coloring makes for way brighter eggs than using the horrible Easter egg dye kits from the store. I participated in the egg hunt with the kids this year. It was so much fun! We laughed so hard as we all ran around trying to beat each other. Afterwards, we had our traditional egg gravy and went to church. We enjoyed a ham dinner and watched HOP. It was a great day.  T worked a long time on this egg. It was by far the most intricate egg he has ever done. He did a fantastic job! T actually fell down (you can tell by grass on his knee), but he wasn't going to lose no matter what! We had so much fun and laughter! It was great!! All smiles on our way to church. It was a little early still for A. The week has been pretty good. Better than I though

The Bunch Celebrate Valentine's Day And Grandma's Birthday

Obviously, now that my kids are all pretty much grown Valentine's isn't as big of deal to them. However, in keeping with tradition, not to mention the fact T still wanted out of school for the day, we still had a mini party.  I told them that this year I wasn't going to get them any candy, normally I get balloons and special treat for each of them, but this year I just wasn't feeling it so I decided I would buy them all pizza (a treat since I rarely allow pizza) and I had some little Bundt cakes to celebrate with. They all said they were fine with that. L doesn't really do sweets, A doesn't like chocolate, and T doesn't like truffles, but they all like pizza. We took the day off and fortunately didn't have any basketball related stuff. No practice, no games, a rare no basketball day. We watched a movie, played some minute to win it games, and just basically enjoyed a nice low key day.  I remember the old days when they were little and we would all make
