The Bunch Start the New Year

What a roller coaster of weather we have had! For a couple of days we will have highs in the 80's and then followed by a couple of days where it is 6 with wind chills below zero. Then back to the 80's, which is quickly followed by snow. My allergies are going crazy! We have started back to school, though if I am honest no one really wants to do it, including myself! The kids just started their gymnastics class and we are trying to get back to our pre-move schedule. It has been harder than I thought. I can't decide if time stands still in the country or moves at the speed of light. It is really weird. I know that doing things pretty much revolves around when the sun is up and everyone has their own special way of telling time. It isn't 2:00pm, it is "sometime this afternoon". Also, "down the road a piece" can mean anywhere from 10-30 miles. It is strange to get use to, but I love our house and how quiet everything is.  T starts flag football in a couple of weeks and he is really looking forward to that. A just refinished her first wood piece; a small dresser. She worked really hard and it looks great. L is excited to be back in gymnastics. D is adjusting to his increase in commute time from 15 minutes to 45 and I am forever battling the large amounts of mud that seem to work their way in from outside CONSTANTLY! I pray everyone had a safe New Year's and is doing well.
The clouds always look fake to me.

First snow fall at the new house.

The wind was about 40mph and sooooo cold!

A's final product!

It took her about a week to sand, stain, and seal it. She worked hard.

The Bunch Have A Hard Week

This was actually part of T's present. He had been begging D to do it.😂 It only stayed around a short while. After throwing such a fun and memorable birthday party for T at the lake with his basketball buddies, we have decided to part ways with the basketball organization. I cannot get past that evil man being anywhere near us or people I care about. I did make sure to give everyone a fair warning about the evil man and they can now hopefully make an informed decision about their level of involvement with him. I don't think T's too bothered by it. He didn't want to play this year anyways, but I had originally really wanted him to be around his friends. I am not sure what we will do instead, but I know he is happy to NOT have to run. He hates running. I am basically just feeling completely defeated. I trust no one and have a complete LACK of faith in police officers and lawyers. I know my husband is a good officer, but that's about it and the count is on until June

The Bunch Enjoy Easter

The Bunch ready to head to church to celebrate Easter. We had a wonderful Easter. The kids and I dyed eggs together. T made a fairly intricate Guns N Roses logo egg while A and I just enjoyed making pretty eggs. We have discovered that using food coloring makes for way brighter eggs than using the horrible Easter egg dye kits from the store. I participated in the egg hunt with the kids this year. It was so much fun! We laughed so hard as we all ran around trying to beat each other. Afterwards, we had our traditional egg gravy and went to church. We enjoyed a ham dinner and watched HOP. It was a great day.  T worked a long time on this egg. It was by far the most intricate egg he has ever done. He did a fantastic job! T actually fell down (you can tell by grass on his knee), but he wasn't going to lose no matter what! We had so much fun and laughter! It was great!! All smiles on our way to church. It was a little early still for A. The week has been pretty good. Better than I though

The Bunch Celebrate Valentine's Day And Grandma's Birthday

Obviously, now that my kids are all pretty much grown Valentine's isn't as big of deal to them. However, in keeping with tradition, not to mention the fact T still wanted out of school for the day, we still had a mini party.  I told them that this year I wasn't going to get them any candy, normally I get balloons and special treat for each of them, but this year I just wasn't feeling it so I decided I would buy them all pizza (a treat since I rarely allow pizza) and I had some little Bundt cakes to celebrate with. They all said they were fine with that. L doesn't really do sweets, A doesn't like chocolate, and T doesn't like truffles, but they all like pizza. We took the day off and fortunately didn't have any basketball related stuff. No practice, no games, a rare no basketball day. We watched a movie, played some minute to win it games, and just basically enjoyed a nice low key day.  I remember the old days when they were little and we would all make
