The Bunch Take the Freshly Finished Camper on Its Maiden Voyage

It was miserably humid outside.

Well, all our hard work paid off. Our Boy Scout camping trip was absolutely miserable. The humidity levels were so high that even night time was uncomfortable. In four years of camping with this group, this was the worse trip. The mosquitoes were in swarms by the thousands and since you were just dripping in sweat from the humidity levels, they just stuck to you. Thankfully, we had a/c and spent most of the time in the camper watching movies. We really got to enjoy our new cushions and paint job. Unfortunately, our stupid dog made her super long crazy tail bleed again. it was reminiscent of our big trip a couple years ago where we had to make her a tail splint to keep her from whacking the tip of her tail open on everything. Usually she doesn't have this happen on our short trips, but lucky us she made an exception this time. A good portion of our weekend was spent cleaning blood off everything her tail whacked. Luckily, my new paint held up really well!
T was happy to see his friends after all summer.

I plan and buy stuff for meals, D does clean up and cooking....It was too hot to cook outside.

No shower...he just came in after playing outside for an hour.

T looks gigantic next to his friends.

The girls stayed behind to play their double header volleyball game and spent the weekend with their grandparents. Unfortunately, they lost both games. We have one game left before the playoffs are here and they should win that game, though I feel bad because the other team hasn't won a single game this year.
The girls love to bake....this was a yummy carrot cake.

L is my little decorator....I will miss her decorations when she stops doing them.

D spent about 10 hours this weekend changing all the faucets out for my mom. He did a great job; they definitely look fabulous and I am pretty sure they won't leak. ;) I was his "helper" which I think is code for beck and call person and someone to unload frustrations on. He gets into a zone while he is doing a project, so I just ignore most of what he says because when he is done he is my happy hubby again, though maybe a little sore this time from laying in the cabinets for so long. Never doubt his mad skills, he can do anything I put my mind to.

L had to write a paragraph and she wrote about my father....priceless.

Lunch with the family.

Mosquitoes are NO match for my wine glasses.

We have our 2nd annual Branson trip coming up and can't wait. We have an all new list of things to do this year. It should be lots of fun and my parents are once again going to join us for part of the trip.

The Bunch Have A Hard Week

This was actually part of T's present. He had been begging D to do it.😂 It only stayed around a short while. After throwing such a fun and memorable birthday party for T at the lake with his basketball buddies, we have decided to part ways with the basketball organization. I cannot get past that evil man being anywhere near us or people I care about. I did make sure to give everyone a fair warning about the evil man and they can now hopefully make an informed decision about their level of involvement with him. I don't think T's too bothered by it. He didn't want to play this year anyways, but I had originally really wanted him to be around his friends. I am not sure what we will do instead, but I know he is happy to NOT have to run. He hates running. I am basically just feeling completely defeated. I trust no one and have a complete LACK of faith in police officers and lawyers. I know my husband is a good officer, but that's about it and the count is on until June

The Bunch Enjoy Easter

The Bunch ready to head to church to celebrate Easter. We had a wonderful Easter. The kids and I dyed eggs together. T made a fairly intricate Guns N Roses logo egg while A and I just enjoyed making pretty eggs. We have discovered that using food coloring makes for way brighter eggs than using the horrible Easter egg dye kits from the store. I participated in the egg hunt with the kids this year. It was so much fun! We laughed so hard as we all ran around trying to beat each other. Afterwards, we had our traditional egg gravy and went to church. We enjoyed a ham dinner and watched HOP. It was a great day.  T worked a long time on this egg. It was by far the most intricate egg he has ever done. He did a fantastic job! T actually fell down (you can tell by grass on his knee), but he wasn't going to lose no matter what! We had so much fun and laughter! It was great!! All smiles on our way to church. It was a little early still for A. The week has been pretty good. Better than I though

The Bunch Celebrate Valentine's Day And Grandma's Birthday

Obviously, now that my kids are all pretty much grown Valentine's isn't as big of deal to them. However, in keeping with tradition, not to mention the fact T still wanted out of school for the day, we still had a mini party.  I told them that this year I wasn't going to get them any candy, normally I get balloons and special treat for each of them, but this year I just wasn't feeling it so I decided I would buy them all pizza (a treat since I rarely allow pizza) and I had some little Bundt cakes to celebrate with. They all said they were fine with that. L doesn't really do sweets, A doesn't like chocolate, and T doesn't like truffles, but they all like pizza. We took the day off and fortunately didn't have any basketball related stuff. No practice, no games, a rare no basketball day. We watched a movie, played some minute to win it games, and just basically enjoyed a nice low key day.  I remember the old days when they were little and we would all make
