The Bunch Finish Birthday Week

The kids had to test ALL the furniture out, which was conveniently under all the shelves.

First off, Iris, the horse, has had no more issues this past week, though I did make extra sure to hose her down on the super hot days. I am really happy that this week will be nice and cool so I should be less busy checking on all the animals all day for heat exhaustion. We celebrated A's birthday the day before since she had to work on her birthday. She wanted to go shopping at Joann's for some crafting stuff she wanted and she also wanted to go check out the brand new At Home store that opened last week. We have been waiting for it to open and it did not disappoint. We also drove up to Gainesville to take A out to lunch on her actual birthday. She wanted to go to Schlotzkys again. I got the gluten free BBQ pizza which except for the crust still being cold from being frozen was better than last week's sandwich, but still not impressed. For the price, I would rather go to a regular restaurant.

This week D, T, and I are heading out to my favorite camping spot for a couple of days. This time L has to stay back with A because of school. A is all kinds of excited about having company. She hates being alone. However, L is less than thrilled about how A is not only super excited about her staying home, but also about her being recruited to cook all of A's meals!😂 This should be interesting.

Have a great week!

We get there early to put our order in so everything is ready when A gets there. The worst part for T is staring at his lunch for 5 minutes while we wait for A to get there.

A loves seeing her family in the middle of the day. And getting a free lunch!

My pizza looked good, but was cold still.

A loves the bacon ranch calzone. This is  her second time getting it.

She had a great birthday!

I can't believe she is 20!!!! Where does time go?!?

NoNo being her normal helpful self with laundry. At least she hasn't gotten in the dryer again!😂

The Bunch Have A Hard Week

This was actually part of T's present. He had been begging D to do it.😂 It only stayed around a short while. After throwing such a fun and memorable birthday party for T at the lake with his basketball buddies, we have decided to part ways with the basketball organization. I cannot get past that evil man being anywhere near us or people I care about. I did make sure to give everyone a fair warning about the evil man and they can now hopefully make an informed decision about their level of involvement with him. I don't think T's too bothered by it. He didn't want to play this year anyways, but I had originally really wanted him to be around his friends. I am not sure what we will do instead, but I know he is happy to NOT have to run. He hates running. I am basically just feeling completely defeated. I trust no one and have a complete LACK of faith in police officers and lawyers. I know my husband is a good officer, but that's about it and the count is on until June

The Bunch Enjoy Easter

The Bunch ready to head to church to celebrate Easter. We had a wonderful Easter. The kids and I dyed eggs together. T made a fairly intricate Guns N Roses logo egg while A and I just enjoyed making pretty eggs. We have discovered that using food coloring makes for way brighter eggs than using the horrible Easter egg dye kits from the store. I participated in the egg hunt with the kids this year. It was so much fun! We laughed so hard as we all ran around trying to beat each other. Afterwards, we had our traditional egg gravy and went to church. We enjoyed a ham dinner and watched HOP. It was a great day.  T worked a long time on this egg. It was by far the most intricate egg he has ever done. He did a fantastic job! T actually fell down (you can tell by grass on his knee), but he wasn't going to lose no matter what! We had so much fun and laughter! It was great!! All smiles on our way to church. It was a little early still for A. The week has been pretty good. Better than I though

The Bunch Celebrate Valentine's Day And Grandma's Birthday

Obviously, now that my kids are all pretty much grown Valentine's isn't as big of deal to them. However, in keeping with tradition, not to mention the fact T still wanted out of school for the day, we still had a mini party.  I told them that this year I wasn't going to get them any candy, normally I get balloons and special treat for each of them, but this year I just wasn't feeling it so I decided I would buy them all pizza (a treat since I rarely allow pizza) and I had some little Bundt cakes to celebrate with. They all said they were fine with that. L doesn't really do sweets, A doesn't like chocolate, and T doesn't like truffles, but they all like pizza. We took the day off and fortunately didn't have any basketball related stuff. No practice, no games, a rare no basketball day. We watched a movie, played some minute to win it games, and just basically enjoyed a nice low key day.  I remember the old days when they were little and we would all make
