The Bunch Help The Kitty Grow And Get Ready For Christmas

My son the giant💗

Things have been very busy at our house. Not only are we getting ready for the holidays, but we have also had 5 basketball games a week plus practice and a newborn kitten who needs a bottle about every three hours, day and night. Even with A, L, and I trading off shifts, we are all still very tired. She is growing really well though. She has gone from about 4oz to 13oz now. Her eyes are open, her ears are up, and she can crawl, though she is pretty wobbly. We cannot wait until sometime in the next week or so when she gains the ability to go to the bathroom without us having to rub her with warm cotton balls.

Noelle was a little more receptive to taking a Santa picture with T.

A is basically the kittens over protective mommy. She takes the baby, who we named Miracle, back and forth with her to work so she can bottle feed her there and check her weight. As worried as we were with Noelle meeting Maisy, I have to say that with this kitten Maisy couldn't care less. I don't know if it's because she is now almost 14 years old and deaf or if because it's so small, but she'll get down on the floor and chew her bone while the kitten is out getting tummy time on the floor next to her. HOWEVER, Noelle is another matter. She does NOT like this thing that has taken attention away from her. She actually growls at the kitten. However, today she didn't growl. She just sat there and and gave the kitty an death stare so maybe she is getting use to her???
Isn't she getting so big!?! I can actually tell it's a cat now.

The little mama.

L read her the story of the Christmas Kitten.

This week is baking week. Which means I make goodies for D's work, A's work, us, the farrier, the basketball coach, etc.. So far it has been 2 full days of baking and I still have at least two more go. T has been more than willing to taste test my "mistakes".😂 I have almost everything done for the holidays and it feels GREAT! I feel relaxed and ready for the season...kind of. I just need the finishing touches on a couple of things. D has an endoscopy scheduled on the 21st so we aren't sure how he'll feel afterwards so his birthday celebration is probably going to be pretty low key. I'll make him his favorite stuff (which hopefully he can eat) and we'll rent a movie or something.

T is really into collecting coins so we went to a coin show at his request.

We were totally bored!

L did find a good deal on a cute ring. However, if you don't like to stare at different coins for hours this is not the place for you!

We went to take pictures at the Gaylord. It wasn't as well decorated as I remembered.

The Bunch Have A Hard Week

This was actually part of T's present. He had been begging D to do it.😂 It only stayed around a short while. After throwing such a fun and memorable birthday party for T at the lake with his basketball buddies, we have decided to part ways with the basketball organization. I cannot get past that evil man being anywhere near us or people I care about. I did make sure to give everyone a fair warning about the evil man and they can now hopefully make an informed decision about their level of involvement with him. I don't think T's too bothered by it. He didn't want to play this year anyways, but I had originally really wanted him to be around his friends. I am not sure what we will do instead, but I know he is happy to NOT have to run. He hates running. I am basically just feeling completely defeated. I trust no one and have a complete LACK of faith in police officers and lawyers. I know my husband is a good officer, but that's about it and the count is on until June

The Bunch Enjoy Easter

The Bunch ready to head to church to celebrate Easter. We had a wonderful Easter. The kids and I dyed eggs together. T made a fairly intricate Guns N Roses logo egg while A and I just enjoyed making pretty eggs. We have discovered that using food coloring makes for way brighter eggs than using the horrible Easter egg dye kits from the store. I participated in the egg hunt with the kids this year. It was so much fun! We laughed so hard as we all ran around trying to beat each other. Afterwards, we had our traditional egg gravy and went to church. We enjoyed a ham dinner and watched HOP. It was a great day.  T worked a long time on this egg. It was by far the most intricate egg he has ever done. He did a fantastic job! T actually fell down (you can tell by grass on his knee), but he wasn't going to lose no matter what! We had so much fun and laughter! It was great!! All smiles on our way to church. It was a little early still for A. The week has been pretty good. Better than I though

The Bunch Celebrate Valentine's Day And Grandma's Birthday

Obviously, now that my kids are all pretty much grown Valentine's isn't as big of deal to them. However, in keeping with tradition, not to mention the fact T still wanted out of school for the day, we still had a mini party.  I told them that this year I wasn't going to get them any candy, normally I get balloons and special treat for each of them, but this year I just wasn't feeling it so I decided I would buy them all pizza (a treat since I rarely allow pizza) and I had some little Bundt cakes to celebrate with. They all said they were fine with that. L doesn't really do sweets, A doesn't like chocolate, and T doesn't like truffles, but they all like pizza. We took the day off and fortunately didn't have any basketball related stuff. No practice, no games, a rare no basketball day. We watched a movie, played some minute to win it games, and just basically enjoyed a nice low key day.  I remember the old days when they were little and we would all make
