The Bunch See Tim Hawkins Live!!

We have watched, and loved, Christian comedian Tim Hawkins for at least the last decade, if not longer. We have watched pretty much anything that he has put on YouTube. He does do comedy tours, but mostly just on the east coast where he lives. That is why when we heard 6 months ago he was coming to Ft Worth we didn't hesitate and bought tickets for us all to go see him live. I am glad we did get tickets the day they went on sale because the event sold out completely within a few hours. We have been looking forward to it for what feels like forever. We even had shirts specifically printed up that quoted some of our favorite bits he has done over the years.  What was funny is he even did the bits that were printed on T and I's shirts, which probably made a lot more sense to everyone else after hearing it! We had so much fun! Afterwards, A and T commented on how their cheeks hurt from laughing so hard. It was a great night even though we ended up staying out really late.

We went to IHOP for dinner afterwards and it turned out only one waitress was working and 2 cooks. They really could have used two waitresses and only one cook. The waitress that was there was about 70 and not familiar with the menu. There was only one other table there, but unfortunately it was a huge family reunion with about 15 or so people. It was already 10 pm when we sat down and we weren't sure we would ever get to leave. However, we did finally leave around 11, but only because D and A ended up taking their dinner home to eat later. T and I had our dinner about 20 minutes before they got theirs so we were able to finish. We were just so tired we were ready to go home, which was still 40 minutes away, and go to bed. D had to work the next day, but luckily not until 10 am.  The kids and I stayed in our PJs all the next day. We were so tired and the rainy weather did not help. T even moved his top mattress into the living room while we watched movies so he could " be comfortable".

Only true Tim Hawkins fans will understand our shirts.

We had so much fun 😊

That was Tim's tour bus. We saw him getting back into it after the show.

It was packed, but we still were able to see. I think he probably could have used a bigger venue.

My kids found these socks while we were out shopping and wanted to get them for D since it's one of his most favorite seasonings and he puts it on almost EVERYTHING!

Next week we're suppose to go to Urban Air, which looks like a ton of fun, but so far Everytime we plan to go something happens where we can't so hopefully this time we'll finally get to go.

A registered for her very LAST college course this week! I can't believe she is done! I am so proud of her!! Her last class is this summer and then she graduates. I am not sure if she'll decide to graduate at the end of the summer or if she'll wait until May to walk the stage, either way I am so happy for her!

T just made his appointment to get his learners license. It is so annoying to have to make an appointment 4 months out to do anything at the DMV. The earliest appointment available was in July. This is my very last child to teach driving to. It's bittersweet. I love that they are all growing up and starting their own lives, but I also will miss being able to spend all my time with them. They are wonderful people and I love them so much. I am so glad we decided to homeschool because we had so many wonderful adventures together and also were able to keep them away from a lot of the issues that plague public schools. We have a lifetime of memories and a deep love and appreciation of each other. We are very blessed.

The Bunch Have A Hard Week

This was actually part of T's present. He had been begging D to do it.😂 It only stayed around a short while. After throwing such a fun and memorable birthday party for T at the lake with his basketball buddies, we have decided to part ways with the basketball organization. I cannot get past that evil man being anywhere near us or people I care about. I did make sure to give everyone a fair warning about the evil man and they can now hopefully make an informed decision about their level of involvement with him. I don't think T's too bothered by it. He didn't want to play this year anyways, but I had originally really wanted him to be around his friends. I am not sure what we will do instead, but I know he is happy to NOT have to run. He hates running. I am basically just feeling completely defeated. I trust no one and have a complete LACK of faith in police officers and lawyers. I know my husband is a good officer, but that's about it and the count is on until June

The Bunch Enjoy Easter

The Bunch ready to head to church to celebrate Easter. We had a wonderful Easter. The kids and I dyed eggs together. T made a fairly intricate Guns N Roses logo egg while A and I just enjoyed making pretty eggs. We have discovered that using food coloring makes for way brighter eggs than using the horrible Easter egg dye kits from the store. I participated in the egg hunt with the kids this year. It was so much fun! We laughed so hard as we all ran around trying to beat each other. Afterwards, we had our traditional egg gravy and went to church. We enjoyed a ham dinner and watched HOP. It was a great day.  T worked a long time on this egg. It was by far the most intricate egg he has ever done. He did a fantastic job! T actually fell down (you can tell by grass on his knee), but he wasn't going to lose no matter what! We had so much fun and laughter! It was great!! All smiles on our way to church. It was a little early still for A. The week has been pretty good. Better than I though

The Bunch Celebrate Valentine's Day And Grandma's Birthday

Obviously, now that my kids are all pretty much grown Valentine's isn't as big of deal to them. However, in keeping with tradition, not to mention the fact T still wanted out of school for the day, we still had a mini party.  I told them that this year I wasn't going to get them any candy, normally I get balloons and special treat for each of them, but this year I just wasn't feeling it so I decided I would buy them all pizza (a treat since I rarely allow pizza) and I had some little Bundt cakes to celebrate with. They all said they were fine with that. L doesn't really do sweets, A doesn't like chocolate, and T doesn't like truffles, but they all like pizza. We took the day off and fortunately didn't have any basketball related stuff. No practice, no games, a rare no basketball day. We watched a movie, played some minute to win it games, and just basically enjoyed a nice low key day.  I remember the old days when they were little and we would all make
