The Bunch are Beach Ready!

L and T have had fun playing Mario Bros together on the WiiU.

We have packed trailer wheel bearings, hired a farm sitter, food prepped, re-caulked the shower(plus many more updates) and planned our activities. We are excited and ready to have a great vacation. It has been so long since we have been on an extended trip so I am sure that we will forget something, but I think we are ready. We are leaving at 6 am to hopefully avoid the worst part of Dallas traffic and should arrive in Houston before rush hour....I hope. The kids plan to go explore the resort as soon as we arrive while D and I set up. This might be the last time we all get to vacation together since A will start working soon and be busy with her last two years of college. I am happy to see everyone thriving and growing up, but it is also bitter sweet. The kids have literally been my life for 24/365. It is hard to picture them not being there all the time. It took me a year to quit putting six plates on the table when C moved out, though thanks to the insane housing costs my kids will most likely remain in our house for forever. Our neighbor's house just sold for over half a million dollars. It is crazy! I am not looking forward to next year's tax bill! Between groceries, housing costs, and gas, I am not sure how any of this generation's young people will be able to make it on their own.

Have a great week everyone and I will have lots of fun pics for next week!

She thinks she is a dog so she sleeps on the floor like her dog sister does.

Maisy is 12 now and has trouble getting around, but she still enjoys her walks and napping with her mommy.

T has some fantastic onions growing!

The Bunch Have A Hard Week

This was actually part of T's present. He had been begging D to do it.😂 It only stayed around a short while. After throwing such a fun and memorable birthday party for T at the lake with his basketball buddies, we have decided to part ways with the basketball organization. I cannot get past that evil man being anywhere near us or people I care about. I did make sure to give everyone a fair warning about the evil man and they can now hopefully make an informed decision about their level of involvement with him. I don't think T's too bothered by it. He didn't want to play this year anyways, but I had originally really wanted him to be around his friends. I am not sure what we will do instead, but I know he is happy to NOT have to run. He hates running. I am basically just feeling completely defeated. I trust no one and have a complete LACK of faith in police officers and lawyers. I know my husband is a good officer, but that's about it and the count is on until June ...

The Bunch Are Off To A Wonderful 2025 And Are Considering A Change 🤔

It's official, she has a college diploma!! Besides totally enjoying a drama free year, we have been consciously spending time doing things as a family and spending time with each child doing things they enjoy. D has been playing ball and watching movies with his larger "mini me" while A and I have been spending a lot of time in Dallas going to the theatre. A absolutely loves going to see off Broadway productions! I won't be surprised in the slightest if she ends up getting season tickets. Dallas Broadway does a lottery to each show where if they draw your name you have 3 hours to buy tickets for $39 each including all fees! That is an absolute steal! She actually won the lottery on Tuesday so we went that night to see the production of "& Juliet". The seats she won were FANTASTIC! They don't give you cheap seats in the back for the lottery. You win good seats. The seats we ended up with worked out to be only about a quarter of the regular price! We h...

The Bunch Enjoy Easter

The Bunch ready to head to church to celebrate Easter. We had a wonderful Easter. The kids and I dyed eggs together. T made a fairly intricate Guns N Roses logo egg while A and I just enjoyed making pretty eggs. We have discovered that using food coloring makes for way brighter eggs than using the horrible Easter egg dye kits from the store. I participated in the egg hunt with the kids this year. It was so much fun! We laughed so hard as we all ran around trying to beat each other. Afterwards, we had our traditional egg gravy and went to church. We enjoyed a ham dinner and watched HOP. It was a great day.  T worked a long time on this egg. It was by far the most intricate egg he has ever done. He did a fantastic job! T actually fell down (you can tell by grass on his knee), but he wasn't going to lose no matter what! We had so much fun and laughter! It was great!! All smiles on our way to church. It was a little early still for A. The week has been pretty good. Better than I though...
