The Bunch Bake Cookies, Watch a Basketball Scrimmage, and L Gets Her License!

T's team playing with the Go Pro on the goal.😂

We have watched our fair share Hallmark movies this week. For those of you who like Hallmark, our two favorite so far are Three Wise Men and a Baby and Fabled Romance. We also watched Tickets to Paradise, which is not Christmasy or Hallmark, but was still really good. Pretty much all our holiday shopping is done and I just need to mail a couple of things.  Next, we move on to our holiday baking. I normally make banana bread, but since I don't have a freezer full of overripe bananas I am instead making zucchini breads ( I have PLENTY of that!!).

Noelle climbed in A's backpack while she was cleaning her room.

Noelle had a VERY helpful day.

She was really nervous waiting to go take her driving test.

She was about to leave to take her test.

She was so happy to be done and have passed!!

L got ahead start on baking this week when she made cookies for her choir friends for Christmas. She also passed her driver's license test!!😊 I am very proud of her and now I get a two year vacation before T learns to drive! She has her Christmas concert this weekend at the arboretum and we are really hoping it doesn't rain!

T had another scrimmage during his basketball practice and this time played the 16 U A team. This team also includes four players who also play Varsity, two of who start on Varsity. His team, of course, lost, but wow they were a lot better than the jv A team had anticipated. In fact, if the varsity players hadn't played the freshman might have won. T was pretty proud of himself for making a couple of blocks on the varsity players!

Decorating her cookies took her FOREVER.

They turned out cute though by. Teddy bears, snowmen, and gingerbread men.

I literally watched the fog roll in.

Our last official game until after Christmas.

The Bunch Have A Hard Week

This was actually part of T's present. He had been begging D to do it.😂 It only stayed around a short while. After throwing such a fun and memorable birthday party for T at the lake with his basketball buddies, we have decided to part ways with the basketball organization. I cannot get past that evil man being anywhere near us or people I care about. I did make sure to give everyone a fair warning about the evil man and they can now hopefully make an informed decision about their level of involvement with him. I don't think T's too bothered by it. He didn't want to play this year anyways, but I had originally really wanted him to be around his friends. I am not sure what we will do instead, but I know he is happy to NOT have to run. He hates running. I am basically just feeling completely defeated. I trust no one and have a complete LACK of faith in police officers and lawyers. I know my husband is a good officer, but that's about it and the count is on until June

The Bunch Enjoy Easter

The Bunch ready to head to church to celebrate Easter. We had a wonderful Easter. The kids and I dyed eggs together. T made a fairly intricate Guns N Roses logo egg while A and I just enjoyed making pretty eggs. We have discovered that using food coloring makes for way brighter eggs than using the horrible Easter egg dye kits from the store. I participated in the egg hunt with the kids this year. It was so much fun! We laughed so hard as we all ran around trying to beat each other. Afterwards, we had our traditional egg gravy and went to church. We enjoyed a ham dinner and watched HOP. It was a great day.  T worked a long time on this egg. It was by far the most intricate egg he has ever done. He did a fantastic job! T actually fell down (you can tell by grass on his knee), but he wasn't going to lose no matter what! We had so much fun and laughter! It was great!! All smiles on our way to church. It was a little early still for A. The week has been pretty good. Better than I though

The Bunch Celebrate Valentine's Day And Grandma's Birthday

Obviously, now that my kids are all pretty much grown Valentine's isn't as big of deal to them. However, in keeping with tradition, not to mention the fact T still wanted out of school for the day, we still had a mini party.  I told them that this year I wasn't going to get them any candy, normally I get balloons and special treat for each of them, but this year I just wasn't feeling it so I decided I would buy them all pizza (a treat since I rarely allow pizza) and I had some little Bundt cakes to celebrate with. They all said they were fine with that. L doesn't really do sweets, A doesn't like chocolate, and T doesn't like truffles, but they all like pizza. We took the day off and fortunately didn't have any basketball related stuff. No practice, no games, a rare no basketball day. We watched a movie, played some minute to win it games, and just basically enjoyed a nice low key day.  I remember the old days when they were little and we would all make
