The Bunch Head Back To Ft Worth

It was back to business as normal in Cow town. The heavy police presence and bomb sniffing dogs were just a distant memory. Not that the protests were really any big deal the last time we were there, but everything was back to normal this time. D, T, and I went to see the new Superman movie while A went to go see the Musical "Shucked". She managed to get a box seat for this show and really enjoyed it! She said it was so nice NOT being squished between two strangers and that the seats were very comfortable. The show is all about a corn harvest, not kidding. The commercials made it seem pretty corny (😂), but A said it was actually really funny and she enjoyed it. Since this was the release weekend for Superman I made sure to reserve tickets online so we could definitely see it during the time A was at her show. I was the very first person to order tickets so we had our pick of seats. I usually sit towards the front, but since the theater is in an old historical building, the theaters are very small. I picked the very last row. The map online showed there were 4 seats together and then a blocked off space and 4 more seats together. Overall, I don't recommend the back row and will go back to where I normally sit next time.

Me, in my seat, realizing the online map of seats isn't quite accurate.

My view of the rest of my group in their seats. 😂😂😂 The theater wasn't completely full so luckily I was able to trade my seat for the one over by my family. Superman was really funny and I highly recommend seeing it.

T and I relaxing in the shade while A gets autographs from the cast.

The customary marquee picture. I am still irritated that the Lion King charged $40 for a marquee picture.

Maisy still loves her "walks". She is really starting to look old.😭

The Bunch Have A Hard Week

This was actually part of T's present. He had been begging D to do it.😂 It only stayed around a short while. After throwing such a fun and memorable birthday party for T at the lake with his basketball buddies, we have decided to part ways with the basketball organization. I cannot get past that evil man being anywhere near us or people I care about. I did make sure to give everyone a fair warning about the evil man and they can now hopefully make an informed decision about their level of involvement with him. I don't think T's too bothered by it. He didn't want to play this year anyways, but I had originally really wanted him to be around his friends. I am not sure what we will do instead, but I know he is happy to NOT have to run. He hates running. I am basically just feeling completely defeated. I trust no one and have a complete LACK of faith in police officers and lawyers. I know my husband is a good officer, but that's about it and the count is on until June ...

The Bunch Are Off To A Wonderful 2025 And Are Considering A Change 🤔

It's official, she has a college diploma!! Besides totally enjoying a drama free year, we have been consciously spending time doing things as a family and spending time with each child doing things they enjoy. D has been playing ball and watching movies with his larger "mini me" while A and I have been spending a lot of time in Dallas going to the theatre. A absolutely loves going to see off Broadway productions! I won't be surprised in the slightest if she ends up getting season tickets. Dallas Broadway does a lottery to each show where if they draw your name you have 3 hours to buy tickets for $39 each including all fees! That is an absolute steal! She actually won the lottery on Tuesday so we went that night to see the production of "& Juliet". The seats she won were FANTASTIC! They don't give you cheap seats in the back for the lottery. You win good seats. The seats we ended up with worked out to be only about a quarter of the regular price! We h...

The Bunch Celebrate T's 16th Birthday

Three Birthdays in 10 days I cannot believe the baby of the family is 16! Actually, I can't believe they are all as old as they are. C will be 31 this year, A turns 21 tomorrow, L is 18, and little baby T is 16! It has been a wonderful ride and I was very blessed to be able to spend 24/7 with my kids while they were little. I have wonderful memories of all the times we shared. While the last year has been the hardest of our lives, it's been nice to see us all rally together and we have become even more appreciative of each other. T will just randomly stop to hug us and tell us he loves us.🥰 A is so very helpful and thoughtful and C is great about calling and keeping us updated on how they're doing way out in Bonham. I love my kids! We have decided to give pickleball a try as a family. Considering we've never even watched a game, our first lesson should be interesting!  He has gotten so good at guitar! My parents celebrate our birthdays every year by treating us to di...
